Iamze Dzidzaria from Laituri

First steps

I am Iamze Dzidzaria, I live in the village of Laituri, Ozurgeti region. I currently work in poultry and livestock, with the help of my husband. Of course, we have come so far through great labor and hardship. Taso Foundation has made a great contribution to all this.

There used to be a tea factory here where I worked as a laboratory assistant, but a lot of time has passed since then. I was not employed when Taso Foundation entered our village. It was clear from the beginning that the programs offered by them would be useful not only for me, but for the whole community. By empowering one person, others could also get empowered. I was very happy with this opportunity, I learned a lot and I tried my best to succeed. I learned to write a project, underwent various trainings, which gave me a lot of experience and motivation.

My joy knew no bounds when they called me and told me that my project was funded. With my own struggles and my aspirations I gradually became stronger.

Changes

There was a time when I was raising small chickens under the stove, I had a total of 50 wings, but that too was very time consuming and toilsome. I have always loved this and so I submitted the project on the incubator. Now I get calls from different cities and I satisfy quite a large market. I try very hard and I am not going to stop until I am alive. Moreover, I am going to expand my business and become even stronger.

I would like to express my gratitude towards Taso Foundation and our community worker, Lia Kotrikadze.
