On October 21-24, the annual meeting organized by the ” Foundations for Peace Network”, which brings together local foundations from different post-conflict countries, was held in Istanbul. "Taso Foundation" Is a member of the Network, which is represented by Maia Grdzelishvili.

The 2022 annual meeting summarized the main processes of the last three years, due to the fact that it was held face-to-face for the first time in three years because of the pandemic. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the impact of the pandemic and conflict at the local level, as well as to discuss issues related to the operation of the network and future plans.

An important part of the meeting was devoted to the implementation of an online course on the topic of conflict transformation and peacebuilding, created in cooperation with the "Global Peacebuilding Network" and the "Open University" of Great Britain. The training course has been planned for the last two years and will be implemented by the end of the year on the basis of the "Open University", which is intended for practitioners of the middle management of international and local organizations.

In the meeting, local Fund representatives from 9 different countries around the world took part: Bangladesh, Serbia, Indonesia, Georgia, Northern Ireland, India, Sri Lanka, Palestine and Nepal.
