On April 26, a summary event of the project For Economic Empowerment of Women in Georgia was held in the village of Ergneti.
The event opened with the exhibition A Woman From My Village, where photos and stories of rural women preserved in family archives were presented.
Community workers working with self-help groups summarized the activities implemented within the project with short presentations. At the end of the meeting, women were given certificates for successful completion of training courses within the educational component of the project.
In total, about 30 women from different villages of Gori and Kareli municipalities attended the event.
The project is implemented with the support of the UN Women and the Norwegian government.
