On March 11-12, monitoring meetings were held in the villages of Akhaltsikhe and Akhalkalaki municipalities.
On March 11-12, on a monitoring mission the members of the Taso Foundation team were accompanied by representatives of the UN Women Georgia, the Swiss Development and Cooperation Agency and the Austrian Development Agency in the village of Sviri. Akhaltsikhe municipality and in the villages of Buzaveti and Kartikami, Akhalkalaki municipality.
The meetings were aimed at monitoring self-help groups and economic small grants, within the framework of which visits were made to a non-governmental organization registered by the Akhalkalaki self-help group, a beauty salon, a tailor shop, and to the self-help group in Akhaltsikhe, and to coffee-producing grant recipients.
The meeting was held within the framework of the second phase of the project "Economic Empowerment of Women through Social Mobilization and Capacity Building".
The project is implemented in partnership with the UN Women Georgia, Kakheti Regional Development Fund (KRDF), and CARE Caucasus.
