On May 1st, women involved in the Women's Economic Empowerment project were trained on the topic Gender Equality and Women's Rights.

The training, led by Ana Lobzhanidze, covered the following issues: what is gender-based discrimination, what are gender roles and stereotypes, what is sexism and what does sexual harassment mean. In total, 123 women from 16 villages of 5 regions attended the training.

Taso Foundation is implementing the project with the support of UN Women Georgia and the Norwegian government in the regions of Shida Kartli, Samegrelo, Guria, Imereti and Racha-Lechkhumi.
