On September 19, the representative of UN Women Georgia - Kaori Ishikawa, the extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway to Georgia - Bergliot Hovland, the representative of the Danish ambassador, Anne Toft Sørensen - Medea Gegechkori and the regional director of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Giorgi Vekua paid a business visit to Kutaisi, where the community organization NEFA presented the simulation game In Her Shoes with the involvement of the self-help groups formed in the Sazano community.

The game is based on the real experiences of women survivors of violence and allows participants to walk the same path and make their own choices along the way.

NEFA Foundation is a women-led organization that was formed in 2012 by members of the Anaklia Self-Help Group to continue their mission and empower women in the community.

The women's economic empowerment component is part of the project Good Governance for Gender Equality (Phase II), which UN Women, together with its partner organizations, is implementing with the support of the Norwegian government.
